Finally Fri-Yay! Any exciting plans for the weekend?

In honor of National Wear Red Day & Valentine's Day (Feb.14th, did I really need to mention the date, 😊) I decided red everything for this post. Today, wearing red meant you were showing support for women with heart disease and stroke. I'm sure many of us have felt the impact of a family member or close friend who has suffered from this disease or may not have survived a stroke. Today we honor those women, their memories and legacies.

Valentine's day is not only a day for lovers, it's also a day to celebrate friendships. Having friends to share life's journey, a kindred spirit is a blessing beyond measure. So, happy galentine's day as well to all the besties.

This past weekend was so great! I celebrated another year, another milestone and new beginnings. February, the month of my birth, has so much to celebrate. There is Valentine's day for the romantics. Black history month, to pay tribute and remember the ones that paved the way for us.
