#CosmopolitanChic @ The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Hello Fashionistas! Hope everyone had a fashionating weekend. This past Friday was my mother's birthday and dinner party on Saturday. Everyone had a wonderful time, eating lots of good Jamaican food and dancing to reggae music until the wee hours. Did I mention I was the house DJ? Not sure how it came about, but I took my job seriously and gave the people what they wanted. Everything from Beres Hammond, Capleton to Beenie Man.

Now it's back to the work week. I was approached to complete a #CosmopolitanChic challenge by the content director of Vegas.com for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. I wanted to create Three (3) different looks, around one (1) staple piece; This Balmain dress. My idea was to create an easy transition throughout the day while enjoying Brunch at Wicked Spoon (above) to dinner at Jaleo (below) and ending the night at Marquee night club (final pic).

During the day I wanted to keep the look a bit modest (I know, we are talking about Vegas here, lol) by putting a cover-up over this little number. The cover -up is sleeveless and has vents because we all know how hot it is in Vegas. A pair of comfortable flats for walking around, taking in the sites and some light shopping before dinner. Notice the large bag (in first pic), perfect for carrying around your camera, iPad, and cell phone. Have you seen the new iPhone 6 plus? Enough said. I really like the wrap watch because the band looks like stacked bracelets. With this watch you don't have to add any extra arm candy, therefore less to pack. The second look, I kept most of the pieces, but changed out  the flats for wedges, the big bag for a small clutch and added a darker lip color. A nice dinner for two in a family friendly restaurant. Third and final look is for going out to the night club. An over-the-knee boot with ventilation (still keeping in mind the heat), choker neckless, drop earrings, darker nail polish and you are set to dance the night away.

What do you think of my different looks? Any suggestions?

Thanks for reading and commenting!
