SCAD Inspired (Part I)

Hello Fashionistas!
Happy (early) Hump-day! How has the New Year been treating you so far? Any resolutions broken yet? I don't mind telling you that I don't make New Year's resolutions. I know myself well enough to know that more than likely that resolution will be long forgotten by January 3rd, if not sooner. However, those of you that are following through, best of luck to you and hope you follow through.

I had the opportunity to take a tour of SCAD the other day with my cousin - a college student - visiting for a couple days. We were both impressed and inspired by all the creativity that these students have displayed all throughout the many different campuses. We decided to go back the next day to snap some pics, hence this blog post which is a two-parter.

I really enjoy being in a creative environment. In my opinion, visual art can be very stimulating to the senses; I know for me it encourages me to push myself outside of my comfort-zone, try something new, take a chance. So I took a chance at being ANTM (America's Next Top Model), & almost broke my neck. My back. And my ankle. But that is neither here nor there, the point is I TRIED. Has the arts ever inspired you in any way?

My beautiful and oh so talented cousin - Yolanda Watson - was the creative director today. She was absolutely amazing coaching, directing and assisting me so I could get it together. Photo shoots are not really easy for me, I'm my worse critic and I can never really stay still long enough for that perfect shot (according to Erica 😀); so a big thank you to you cuz for helping me out today.
