Hello Fashionistas!

Mother's Day is less than two weeks away. The last gift guide for Mother's Day I composed was in 2013. Yikes! Where does the time go? Not much has changed however; busy moms pretty much want the same thing. Appreciation. Acknowledgment. And Coffee! 😀

Let's go through my 7 picks and you let me know if you agree or disagree:

1. Keurig machine, for when a Starbucks run is out of the question.
2. A Martini Set for when you and the girls want to have a fun night staying in while the kids are with the grandparents.
3. Every woman deserves a Spa Day to relax, unwind and rejuvenate.
4. Aerial Yoga is a new craze in my area. I know a lot of moms don't take the time for themselves to explore a new hobby. With aerial yoga, it provides stress-free relaxation, strengthening of those muscles we forgot about and increases flexibility. So, Let yourself soar, literally.
5. Flowers, of course!
6. A Carryall Bag is essential. Finding a chic carryall can be a bit difficult. This Coach "swagger" (actual name) bag is perfectly stylish and efficient. 
7. Pandora bracelets are just the right amount of bling to show mom how much you appreciate her. What I really like about Pandora is the vast array of charms you can find to add to these  timeless bracelets as the years go by. 
8. When running a million-and-one errands, every mom needs a go-to Pair of Flats. Cute, chic and won't hurt your feet.

Hello Fashionistas!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving or Friends-giving. It's always great seeing family and friends; spending quality time together while feasting on delicious turkey and all the rest.

 Didn't complete this Christmas gift guide as early in the month as I wanted, however, I've listened to my friends and these are the most coveted items this season.This gift guide, as usual, is geared towards the guys. Ladies, you know what to do (see here).

Hello Fashionistas!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Still recovering from all the turkey I ate. Just kidding! But seriously, it was great seeing family and spending quality time together. Very proud of myself for completing this Christmas gift guide early in the month. If you've been following my blog since I started in 2012, you know that these gift guides are usually geared towards the guys (see here) and (here). The reason for this is, I think I have a pretty good idea of what women want, especially if it's something trending or in fashion, however, their guys' may not have a clue. Hence, these posts titled: Guys, take note... so women can leave these posts on their computers or mobile screens so their significant others can stumble upon it and get a clue as to what it is you want for a Christmas gift. Do you ladies agree with my list? If not, what would you like for Christmas?

Hello! Only 2 weeks left before Christmas is here. It seems like this year has flown by, don't you think? Have you completed your Christmas shopping or are you a last minute shopper like myself? If all else fails you can always buy a gift card.

You are welcome! ^_^ And ladies, remember what you have to do to get a gift from this list.

1. Flowers. 

    Whether you are near or far, flowers make any occasion extra special. A comedian once 

    said, "there is no excuse not to give a woman flowers, that's what your neighbor's garden is 

    for."

2. Breakfast-in-bed. 

    This is a great way to incorporate the kids. They can decorate the pancakes or make 

    fun shapes with the toast. They will always remember this as a special day for mom and for 

    future reference to continue in this tradition.    

3. Massage. 

    No explanation necessary.

4. Starbucks. 

    Every mom I know could do with a limitless supply of Starbucks gift card. 

5. 6 & 7. Spa treatments.

    Sometimes moms don't take time for themselves. An all day spa treatment is just the thing 

    to say, "I appreciate you!"

What Women Want---

Valentine's Day gift guide for men based on a survey I conducted earlier today. The above is in no particular order, none is more important than the other. Some of the items did not make the list because I couldn't mention it here on my rated PG blog, however I hope you get what you want (you know who you are). 

1. Red roses, no surprise there. Red is the color of passion, so this is one way for a guy to show how he feels about a woman. And roses smell great.
2. Chocolate candy (I'll keep my comment to myself).
3. A Valentine's Card. A card does go a long way fellas, especially if you are not very verbose about your feelings, or not into writing sonnets; choose the best card that can express what you would like to convey to your woman.
4. Christian Louboutin pumps. Not surprised these made the list. What can I say, it's the gift that keeps on giving.
5. A new car. This one was a bit surprising but hey, why not put it out there.
6. Hermes bag (good luck with this one).
7. Romantic dinner for two. I really like this idea, especially if you know how to cook, kudos to you!
8. Massage. This is a no-brainer, relieve stress and tension so you can re-connect.
9. Romantic get-a-way. No kids, no work, just you two =)
10. A nice guy.

Guys, these are the items that you should be looking for, especially, if your special someone expects more than a gift card - which are great- they just don't show much thought.
