The cut-out waist dress is my new favorite thing. They're also available in the hi-low design (hi-low is still on trend).  Pastels are haute right now; from nail polishes, make-up, clothes and accessories. There is something about these colors that makes me feel like an adolescent again - in a really girly way. The coral, River Island skirt is flirty and fun,  paired with a colorful bracelet or heels. The black & white look has been a staple in my closet for years; now that the celebrities have caught on to this trend, you see it everywhere (like the way I just gave myself credit for starting a trend? lol!). Polka dots are still on trend; and this polka dot Luichiny is so chic with the ankle strap. I thought I was up on all the latest trends until the other day when I was watching The Wendy Williams show and she had a style expert on talking about "greige". What is greige? It is a color blend of "gray" and "beige". The Chloe bag above is a fabulous example of how this neutral color can blend in with any color palette. Share with me your thoughts on the latest tends - likes? dislikes?

Hope everyone is enjoying the warm weather. Unfortunately, soon I'll be complaining about the heat, so until then I'm embracing the warmth.

According to the November issue of Lucky magazine (side note: I'm a lucky mag contributor See Here) the above items are trending.

First, let's start with the "Piper" leather slide clutch. The slide clutch is a great update to the everyday clutch. We've gone from sliding the clutch under our armpits to sliding our fingers through the holder located horizontally on the sides. You can find these clutches online or H&M.

Second, The peplum puffer (peplum is everything this year) emphasizes your curves. So, if you want an hourglass figure, don't stop at a peplum dress or skirt, add a peplum jacket as well. You can find these puffers in high - to- affordable department stores and of course online.

Third, the "Bou Bou" sneakers are made from patent leather and woven fabrics. You might remember I wrote a blog awhile back where I mentioned I was not fond of low oxfords (not for me, but fine for others) well, I really like these sneakers because they are a cross between keds and tap shoes. You can find them online.

Last, but certainly not least, floral jewelry. The pair I chose above were made by Tory Burch, found on polyvore.com. The floral look adds elegance to any outfit whether it is black tie or dressing up skinny jeans and a t-shirt. Also, check out Anthropologie, Pandora and Effy for other varieties.
