Fashionable Videos To Share

Wendy is one of the many fashion bloggers I follow; she is a style inspiration for myself and countless others. I wanted to share this video with everyone because she goes over 3 different ways to pair peplum (which is still on trend for this holiday season). Hope you enjoy!:

Do you remember the post I did a while back about the fashion designer, Crystal Cooper? If not, let me refresh your memory, Click Here. This video has more behind the scenes pictures that captured an amazing shoot by Sarah Dial. Enjoy!:

If Scarlett O'Hara, from Gone with the wind, was able to make a dress out of drapes, then ladies, surely we can make a dress out of anything - Even the newspaper. Yes I said it, now take a look for yourself:

Thanks for viewing, hope you guys enjoyed my picks. Let me know which video was your favorite.

Hot vs. Not Haute

Hot vs. Not Haute

I haven't done a "hot vs. not hot" look in a while - seems like I've been loving everything lately. Women's suits, pants in particular, are all over the runway for 2013. Top designers such as: Versace, Gucci, Rachel Roy and many others have showed their bright, vibrant colored pant suits for the career woman/women. Since it's still technically winter (in other regions) I chose colors that would reflect the dark and bleak days of cold weather. However, I wanted to show the pant suits that would be flattering to a woman's figure vs. being ill-fitted. These are my opinions, please feel free to disagree.

Let me know what you think and thanks for reading my blog.

Guys, take note...

Guys, take note...

The ladies have spoken. The above items were compiled from a survey I conducted earlier (thank you ladies for answering so promptly). Guys, these are the items that you should be looking for, especially, if your special someone expects more than a gift card - which are great- they just don't show much thought. Now of course, you should always get a gift return receipt with every purchase. The items above can be found online, if you hate the malls this time of year or all year-round.

Also, check out firmoo.com/free-glasses if you would like to get her or yourself a pair of stylish glasses for FREE. See my Review Here.

Ladies, a little help to get one of these gifts under the Christmas tree: Pull up this post and leave it open on his screen. Then make a comment on the items that you really like when he asks "what is this doing up"?

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog :)

Firmoo: Winter Heat

Blazer: H&M
Top: old
Jeans: Calvin Klein

"Vision and fashion the frugal way" is the goal for Firmoo - a global online optical store. When I was approached by Firmoo to review a free pair of glasses, I was curious, then disappointed (will explain) and later, thrilled and filled with anticipation. I went on the website to check out the company and what they had to offer. Right away I was impressed by the amount of positive customer reviews they had and facebook followers. Then I saw I could receive a free pair of prescription glasses to try, I was disappointed; disappointed because I don't wear prescription glasses and thought for sure, they wouldn't want me to try there fabulous designer sunglasses for free. After one email, I was told how to get my free designer sunglasses - very easy, simple steps - and I was thrilled. In less than a week my package arrived. The glasses are stylish, well-made and they fit just right (Firmoo requires measurements so you get your perfect fit). I was also surprised by the extras that came with the sunglasses, i.e. carrying case and pouch. These glasses are so fabulous, I did something I rarely do; I asked to have some pictures - of me - taken (be nice!) wearing the glasses to prove it.

Firmoo has a first pair free program: www.firmoo.com/free-glasses; You only pay for the shipping. These stylish glasses could make a great Christmas gift for yourself or the fashionista in your life.

Lens cloth; Carrying pouch; Carrying case.

The designer glasses I received for free. Colors: blue, white and steel.
