Cabi x Fashion Show

Hello Fashionistas! My first blog post since Spring has sprung 😊
How is the weather treating you? I'm trying not to complain but it's already miserably hot here in the south. Hence my reason for not blogging, the heat has fried my brain, lol.

I had the opportunity to attend a fashion show for Cabi at their outlet store in Pooler this past Thursday. If it's so miserably hot, why am I wearing an all-back ensemble at the Cabi fashion show - except for my cross-body bag that provided a pop of color - you might wonder? I'll tell you, the fabric is the lightest, easy-breeziest material that has touched my skin in quite a long time. At first, I tried on a different color, but unfortunately, it was not my size and it was the last one in that particular design in the store. These jumpsuits are haute, and are selling out fast. So, when I stopped in earlier at Cabi, prior to the fashion show Thursday, I snagged this jumpsuit (after trying on the other style that didn't fit) and it was perfection! The last time I wore a jumpsuit, I was a child, and not for lack of trying. I just could not find one that fit the way I wanted it to.

The fashion show was stylish and highlighted some of the trends for this Spring and Summer. The pastel jeans were my faves! Some of the models were wearing Cole Haan shoes and sneakers; I was very surprised by the sneakers. Usually I'm not a sneaker girl but I liked the chicness of both styles especially the hi-top design.
To top the night off, everything in the store was 50% off from 6PM - 9PM.

Majesty Fashion Show

I attended an awesome fashion show this past Friday night at Villa Savannah in support of the Rape Crisis Center. This store has beautiful jewelry, fashionable clothing and fabulous home decor. If you haven't visited Villa Savannah (located on Broughton Street), I highly recommend that you do, you will not be disappointed. I was also there to support Melissa Harris (above), the wonderful runway coach at the Harley-Davidson fashion show I participated in (See Here).

What I love about Villa Savannah is the diversity they offer in women's apparel, jewelry and accessories. Pieces that are unique and one-of-a-kind (every girl loves that) will keep you ahead of the trend. Whether you are looking for a casual girls' night out outfit or going to a fancy cocktail dinner, you will find the perfect look and accessories to top it off.

Visit them online Here.

Harley-Davidson : : Fashion Show

It was Customer Appreciation day at Savannah Harley-Davidson - good food, great fashion and lots of fun for the entire family. Did you know that Harley-Davidson was not just a bike company? They have a wide selection of apparel: Pink Collection, Kids Couture, Pajamas, Tropical wear and fabulous jewelry. Stop in at one of your local Harley-Davidson retailer to see what I'm talking about. Sorry guys! this is no longer just your playground :)

Is it wrong that I wanted to wear this flower in my hair?

Fashion Industry Christmas Party

Designer Javan Reed, emcee for the fashion show held at Taverna Yamas. Javan is the creative director of Fashion Forward, Inc.; His focus is on the "everyday woman". The dresses that showcased were couture, high fashion and fun/flirty cocktail dresses. It is the holiday season and like every woman out there, I looked at these dresses with holiday parties in mind.

The inspiration for the faces was New Year's Eve rooftop party. MUA: Erin Foster, Artistry by Erin.

Designer: Kara Bazma

This sequin number is divine; it hugs the curves with shimmer and accentuates in all the right places. This is a fabulous dress for a holiday party, especially if you want to show-up and show-out. The shoe color was also the perfect complementary color for this dress.

Hillary (model on the right) not only walked in the fashion show but she did her own make-up. Why? She is also a MUA. You may remember her from the Certa magazine photo shoot, if not, see it HERE.

Just in case you were wondering how to "work" this Occeus Couture dress. Any questions?

From his knitted collection, this maxi delivers! This dress made me want to hit the gym; it's form fitting (top half), then flares out, giving a beautiful silhouette of the legs. This dress is a showstopper that will definitely have heads turning.
